Creative Europe: Call for Access to Markets has been launched

EU funding opportunities

The European Commission has recently published the Call for proposals “Support to Access to Markets – Single actions 2015” (EACEA/29/2014) for funding under the Creative Europe’s MEDIA Sub-programme.

The MEDIA Sub-programme, managed by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), aims to support European film and audio-visual industries, by helping the developing, distribution and promotion of their work as well as the reinforcement of their capacities to operate transnationally.

A total budget of 3.53 million euro has been made available under this call. Eligible applicants should be entities – such as private companies, non-profit organisations, associations, charities, foundations, municipalities/town councils, etc. – established in one of the countries participating in the MEDIA Sub-programme.

The call for proposals covers three different areas of activities, which can take place in and outside countries participating in the MEDIA Sub-programme:

Action 1. Access to (physical) markets for European professionals
Action 2. Online tools intended for the professionals
Action 3. Common European promotional activities

The EU co-financing rate will cover up to 60% of total eligible cost for actions taking place in participating countries, and a maximum of 80% in case of activities taking place outside participating countries.
Submissions to all three actions areas are allowed, provided that a separate application is submitted for each of the proposals. The deadline is scheduled on 22 January 2015.
