Editorial 21 October 2019We would like to start our new series post-number 100 with a new subject which brings us far away but so close in the news we read everyday. In every policy domain the Far East is becoming central. And in that geographical area our attention has to focus primarily on Japan. For the giant it is in terms of economy, culture, history, geopolitics, relations with the EU. A brand-new world. Possibly less known that we think. We will try to give our contribution to clarity in this new issue of NEU. As usual, have a good reading!
