The fuTOURiSME project – fostering digital & sustainable transition of TOURism SMEs for FUture innovation and resilience, funded under the Single Market Programme – COSME section (SMP-COSME-2022-TOURSME call) launched a call aiming at identifying and supporting the development, implementation and scaling-up of innovative solutions by European tourism small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in order to:.
- Promoting the digital and green solutions for SMEs and enhance the twin transition process;
- equip SMEs with the skills they need to take advantage of the opportunities arising from the twin transitions;
- gathering best practices and strategies to advance the transformation of the tourism sector.
The call will support 60 innovative projects carried out by tourism SMEs or partnerships with a lump sum of €30,000 each, to encourage the adoption of digital and sustainable technologies with a positive impact on both their business operations and the environment.
Applications must be submitted by one of the following types of candidates:
- single tourism SME;
- Tourism SME partnership, consisting of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 tourism SMEs;
- Partnership consisting of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 partners (must include at least 1 tourism SME and at least 1 public or private entity that plays an instrumental role in helping the tourism SME(s) to carry out the project).
Partnerships must be composed of SMEs/entities based in the same country and can pre-exist and capitalize on previous innovative projects.
SMEs and institutions must be established in one of the following countries: Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Spain;
