Energy efficiency, green Energy transition, and Energy independence have always been important topics for EU Member States, plans like “Fit for 55”, agreed on only last year – to accelerate e guide such transition towards a better energy resource production and management – have been stipulated among European countries to work in this direction. Nevertheless, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine acted as a catalyzer accelerating efforts towards Europe’s independence from Russian fossil fuels on one side and toward clean Energy on the other. Among the measures undertaken to realize such a run-up to the goal, the EU is working on the “REPowerEU Plan”, comprehensive of measures establishing a new EU Energy Platform, that will help deliver the objectives of the Green Deal far before 2030.
