In correlation with the European Green Deal and the “Fit for 55”, the topic of Energy and energy-related targets are extremely relevant at the European level. In this context, renewable energy sources – among which: Solar energy, Wind energy, Hydro energy, Geothermal energy etc. – are considered extremely valuable. The revision of the Renewable energy directive, introduced in 2009, consists of increasing the EU’s binding target concerning renewables to a minimum of 42.5% (with the ambition to reach 45%) by 2030.
